Archive FAQ

WHAT IS AN ARCHIVE ENTRY?

An Archive Entry is a complete, structured set.

Each one is assembled around a specific direction,
with selected materials and an archive card.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN STANDARD AND EXPANDED?

Standard Archive
A complete, foundational entry.

Expanded Archive — Complete Entry
Includes the full standard entry, along with additional specimens and exclusive materials.

The difference is not requirement—
but depth.

HOW DO I CHOOSE THE RIGHT ENTRY?

Most do not choose by logic.

They recognize something—
a word, a feeling, or a direction—
and begin there.

That is usually enough.

DO I NEED TO KNOW HOW TO USE IT?

No.

There is no required method.

Most begin by placing the entry nearby
and returning to it over time.

CAN I USE MULTIPLE ENTRIES?

Yes.

Some remain with one.
Others move between them.

There is no restriction.

WHAT IF I CHOOSE THE WRONG ONE?

Selection is rarely wrong.

It reflects what is already present.

ARE ALL MATERIALS NATURAL?

Materials may be natural or formed.

All are selected for their structure and role within the entry,
rather than origin alone.

WILL MY ENTRY LOOK EXACTLY LIKE THE PHOTOS?

No two entries are identical.

Variation in size, shape, and formation is expected
and reflects the nature of the materials.

ARE THESE INTENDED FOR GIFTING?

Yes.

Each entry is prepared to be received as-is.

CAN I PAIR THIS WITH OTHER ITEMS?

Yes.

Archive Tools and Residual Fragments are often selected alongside entries
to extend or complement the system.
